How does TiS3 connect legacy assets?

Start with the equipment and the information a team needs. A suitable device interface or sensor captures selected signals, an edge device prepares them, and a gateway moves them into a managed data path. The design depends on the asset and operating environment.

How does edge data reach enterprise systems?

Data and device management organize the incoming information. Approved integrations can then make it available to dashboards, alerts, and existing workflows. Operational technology (OT) means the equipment and control systems that run physical operations.

Evaluation pattern

Define the question before selecting the stack.

Two infrastructure professionals reviewing field operations and connected-system deployment information
Evaluate the asset, useful signal, operating environment, and required action together.
  1. Asset: What needs to be seen or managed?
  2. Signal: Which data is useful and supportable?
  3. Environment: What power, network, security, and operating constraints apply?
  4. Action: Who needs the result and what should happen next?

Technical FAQ

Understand the technical path.

What types of assets can be connected?

The source model supports evaluating legacy and distributed equipment where project-approved sensing, power, networking, data, and operating constraints can be defined.

What role does the gateway play?

At a high level, the gateway bridges selected field signals into a managed data path. Exact protocols, controls, and boundary conditions are project-specific.

What happens to the data?

Approved data can be organized with device context and prepared for dashboards, alerts, analytics, integrations, or workflows appropriate to the environment.

How does TiS3 approach legacy equipment?

The evaluation begins with the asset, useful signal, environment, and decision—not with a universal connectivity promise.
